Hopping online and joining a chat room in the 90's to connect with Francophones, someone asked me "Tu habites dans le coin?" The phrase was confusing, never having seen the word le coin (corner) used to ask about where I was. Ever since then I've thought of the little places that we haunt on the web as our corners.

In case you're curious, my personal blog, Tina the Storyteller, came around first and I adore it, and could never get rid of it.
